FAQ
Where are you based and do you travel?
I live in Whitesboro, but my Studio is in Sherman, TX. I typically shoot outdoor in Sherman as well. I do travel, although I charge a fee of $25 per 30 minutes of travel, both ways. I rarely have to charge this fee unless you are wanting a session that is about 30 minutes to an hour away.
When will we get our photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within maximum 2-6 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints! I highly recommend ordering prints from your link as they do come from a professional printing lab and will be the best quality and color match option available. You can also order Christmas Cards and Graduation Announcements through your link. I am not responsible for any color changes that may take place if printed at a non-professional printing lab such as wal-mart or CVS for example.
How many pictures will we receive?
This will depend highly on the session you have purchased as well as how well everyone involved in the session does. I do not limit what I give back, but strive to give you every good picture that isn't a duplicate of the same pose back! All of my Sessions are quoted at the minimum amount of pictures you will receive back. I am not responsible for any member of your party not cooperating resulting in a smaller gallery.
Printing Information
I highly recommend ordering prints from your link as they do come from a professional printing lab and will be the best quality and color match option available. I am not responsible for any color match issues had during printing. I edit to the best of my ability with how they are shown on a computer. Ordering from a professional printing lab will be the best color match to what you see online.
Under no circumstances are you allowed to edit, have someone edit, or change your photos aesthetically in any way, as protected under the Copyright Law as this is considered Copyright infringement.
Newborn Info
I only do newborns Monday - Friday in the mornings. I typically schedule between 7-14 days old, so your husband may need to plan to take time off for them. If your baby is awake for longer than an hour during your session, I will do awake newborn shots. Not all newborns are the same and some babies will not do naked shots, or certain poses. I will not force a baby in distress to do any pose, even if you really want that pose. Please make sure you bring enough milk for 2 feeds just to be on the safe side. I do expect my clients with multiple children to bring something to keep your children occupied during the session, or have someone lined up to come with you to watch them. If you or your children break anything in the studio during your session, you will be responsible for the replacement costs. A lot of our items are one of a kind and very delicate. I am not responsible for accidents that take place in the studio. Please do not put lotion on your baby prior to the session, this can make for very shiny newborn photos.
Reschedule Info
None of my sessions are refundable for any reason. In no instance should you edit or have someone edit your photos per copyright laws. I will only reschedule for rain, sleet, and snow. Rescheduling for wind is done at my will. If I do not have a sunset time available within the time frame you are needing pictures if reschedule is needed, you will have to do an earlier session before one of my other scheduled sessions. I do not double book weekends and I do not offer weekend newborn sessions.
What do I do if I need my pictures back ASAP?
You can purchase a rush pass that will ensure your pictures are delivered within a week.
DOWNLOAD YOUR PHOTOS
I do NOT save your photos, once the link is delivered to you, you are responsible for downloading and storing them. The link will expire, so please download in a timely manner. I do not keep any photos once they have been sent to you.
Accidents
I am not to be held liable for any accidents that may happen at ANY session. I am not to be held liable for any accidents caused by nature such as lightning or snake bites. Please be aware of your surroundings at all times when in session. I am not to be held liable for any accidents at the studio. Should you or someone in your group break something during a session, you will be responsible for replacement costs.
What if I am late?
If you are late I will allow a 15 minute grace period. After that, it can affect the lighting of the session as well as sessions that may be booked after yours. If reschedule is required due to tardiness you will have to pay a $100 reschedule fee. Please respect my time as I do yours and try to be on time.
Cancellations
If you cancel within 7 days of your scheduled session, you will be required to pay the full session amount if I cannot fill your spot. I do understand life happens, so I will take this into consideration and any balance that has been paid or is due will not be refunded. Cancellations the day before and the day off will not be taken into consideration. If you cancel before 7 days you will not get your deposit back, and you will be required to pay a new deposit in order to reschedule your session.
Weekend Fees
I do charge more for weekends. I started doing this because I was missing out on valuable time with my family. Although I understand weekends are ideal for you because you have them off. Please understand weekends are also valuable to me in the same way, which is why I have implemented this fee.
